Canada Recalls Pregnancy Tests That May Show Positive When You’re Not Pregnant
Health Canada has issued Type II recalls for specific Innovacon and Abbott Rapid Diagnostics hCG pregnancy testing products that may produce false-positive results. The recalls cover all lots of four identified devices and are aimed at healthcare settings. Health Canada says the issue does not mean every home pregnancy test sold in Canada is affected.
